Success Stories

In 2007 David and I had a daughter that was 26 and a grandson that was 1. We thought we were living life to the fullest and could not imagine anything that could make it any better. Then, we met Jesse! He was a very fragile little boy with lots of medical needs and a future that did not look very bright. None of that mattered to me because I fell madly in love with this gorgeous little boy. I had to convince my husband to meet Jesse knowing that our lives would never be the same after he did. We did lots of praying and we decided that this was the path that was intended for us and we became a Kornerstone Family Member and Jesse became a "Dill".

We are The Kings and boldly proclaim that our God is an awesome God! In 2006 we were a family of four. There was me, my wife, and our two children. Carley was nine and Mason was six.

Say hello to Todd and Amy Block, and their seven children (counting the 19-month-old they are in the process of adopting)!  Todd and Amy are both from Illinois, but moved to Caddo Mills, Texas about a year ago.  For those who don’t know, Caddo Mills is about 40 miles north-east of Dallas.

Meet Jeremy and Sarah Tusant!  Jeremy and Sarah live in The Colony.  Sara was born in Grapevine and has lived in the DFW area all of her life.  Jeremy was born in Salem, Oregon, but has been the area for the last eighteen years. Jeremy and Sarah are a “foster to adopt” family and have been fostering since May 2006.  Since then, they have adopted two children, one eighteen months old and one two years old. Jeremy and Sara love children and state they have a passion to serve children and bring more children into their home.
